Famed rodeo rider Carly Hawkins has decided to leave the glitz and glamour of the circuit behind and finally put down roots in the small town of Tenacity, Montana. She’s excited to start a riding school…and maybe find that special someone to share her life with. 

Single dad Jesse Abernathy is also new to town. He’s handsome, loyal and caring. The quiet widower, though, is wary of getting involved with Carly. He’s convinced she will pack her spurs again once the rodeo comes calling, and he only wants to be with Carly if he can take first place in her heart for good. When she’s faced with the choice, which legacy will she choose?
